Terms and Conditions
*1. Unless privately booked, see bookings page to check for availability.
2. Weather and river conditions permitting which are beyond our control.
3. We reserve the right to cancel any tour for safety and/or operational reasons, occasionally at the last minute. You will be offered an alternative date or full refund if this happens.
Reasons why this might happen
1. River levels too high for safe navigation - This will happen after heavy and prolonged wet weather spells. The river usually rises over just a few hours and will subsequently fall over a similar time period when conditions improve.
2. River flow is too fast for safe navigation - The sluice gates in Stratford are automatic, being computer controlled by the Environment Agency and we get very little warning when they are opened. If they are opened beyond a certain point, the river flows quite quickly which means we cannot navigate until they are closed enough to allow for safe navigable conditions once again.
